Track Name: Fanclub
I was always one to live on wishes that never did come true.
Waiting for that single chance that never followed through.
Hoping for at least one day where i can say that it's ok.
But right now I can because I'm sitting here with you.
A million droplets on the window: the rain is pouring down.
Sharing in experience, absorbing sights and sounds.
Watching people walk on by, busy with their daily lives.
Please, let us not take ourselves too seriously for now.
How bout after class we grab a cup of tea?
When I'm sitting next to you, I'm joyful as can be
and any weight that bears upon my chest, I can forget
any problem standing in my way.
Though what matters is the 'here and now'
I still look back and wonder how
I ever got to where I am with you
and what I feel is nothing short of truth.
Chin up; I'll catch you later, kid.
Track Name: Winter Break
My blurry eyes blink open, face down on the floor.
A deep breath, the air fills my chest
I step outside of a door.
I'd brush my teeth, and my reflection and I
stop to pause to see if we can recall...
I'd sit down and close my eyes for a while
and think of everything or nothing at all.
A scene from a movie plays inside my head and I wait until I see it again.
A thought floats around from behind my eyes
and I catch it with a ballpoint pen.
Flapjacks for breakfast. "Can you please pass me the jar?"
Chapter 5 of 1984 and then I guess I'll play some guitar.
I'd call you up to say "hallo" and "I love you"
and that today we'll have a wonderful life.
Mom's upstairs; dad is watching the news;
I head out the door and tell them "goodbye"
I wonder if or when this chapter will ever end,
and if I'll say goodbye to anyone I call my friend.
I chill at Veteran's Park...I get home by 12, or 2, or 3.
When are you coming home, so I can kiss you on your red, rosy cheek?
I'd brush my teeth and my reflection and I
stop to pause to see if we can recall.
I'd sit down to close my eyes for a while
and think of everything or nothing at all..

Track Name: Be Human (Friedrich's Qualm)
Remembering my youth, I never wanted to fit in with their group:
I turned away, and ran.
and in the past, that couldn't last, time just brought me closer to the truth:
and closer to the plan
that I'm here for being something more than a part to a machine.
I have a mind, a beating heart, I am a human being.
take a look at your reflection, tell me what you see.
"A life is not worth living if it isn't truly free"
And so I'm here today. how can I even think of throwing this honest life away?
I know it's wrong.
It's the only thing that makes me human, separating me from them,
the only thing I've known for all too long:
that I'm here for being something more than a part to a machine.
I have a mind, a beating heart, I am a human being.
take a look at your reflection, tell me what you see.
"A life is not worth living if it isn't truly free"
I extend this invitation, expecting nothing back.
in hopes that I would get your tough exterior to crack.
and I know, my friend, it hurts to risk, it cuts deep like a knife
but that's the way I have to live my life.
